BFDQ Rectangular Fire Damper

BFDQ Rectangular Fire Damper

Fire dampers are used for preventing the spread of fire and smoke through ventilation systems in the buildings. When the fusible link mechanism reaches to 72°C, it closes the damper blade by driving the return spring and by that it prevents the fire to spread to other environments. Fire dampers also can be controlled with servomotor by automation system. In smoke dampers, the damper is opened by 24 Volt or 220 Volt commanded servomotor according to the signal that comes from automation system and the smoke extraction is done. Fusible link is fixed to the surface where the damper handle is attached, in such way that it can be replaced easily. Installation of casing sheets to each other is made with bolt and nut. Fire resistant, impermeable red silicone is applied to joints.
