General Information
MATERIAL

Product casing is manufactured from galvanized sheet.

USAGE

Sand trap louvres are used at the ends of suction and supply lines of air ducts for protecting the ventilation system by prefiltering the air in the environments where dust concentration is dense. It has U profile blade structure and blades are installed by cross arrangement into the casing in vertical direction. While the particle holding efficiency is %30 - %78 for particles with dimensions between 75 – 700 μm, it increases up to %70 - %97 for particles with dimensions between 350 – 750 μm.
The working priciple of drawer type sand trap louvre is; first, dust particles, carried with air, strike to blades with the effect of centrifugal force occured and then they get seperated from air and particles pile up in the drawerby passing through the holes in the bottom of sand trap louvre after that dust can be simply discharged from the drawer. The only difference of bottom discharge type sand trap louvre is; it discharges the dust directly through its bottom holes without collecting them in the drawer. Also 20, 25, 30 and 35 mm flanges are available.
